Wild yam has historically been used for anti-inflammatory purposes for skin conditions and joint pain, as well as in potential hormone-balancing creams due to its naturally occurring diosgenin, an estrogen-like compound. Helps with Menopause and Pre-menopause and hormonal acne.
*Please Note* It is advised that women using wild yam creams cycle their use; typically with 3 weeks of daily application, and 1 week off. It is not advised to use wild yam while pregnant or nursing.
